I now agree that Tokyo Disney Sea is the best theme park in the world. The scenery was amazing and the Mediterranean Harbour looked like the real Venice. 

We all went on the Disney Sea Transit Steamer Line, which was like a tour through Disney Sea with Japanese commentary J  We started at Mysterious Island and Jim & Eddie went on 20,000 Leagues under the Sea. Jim then did Journey to the Centre of the Earth.  We then walked to the lost River Delta and Jim & I both did Indiana Jones: Adventure: Temple of the Crystal Skull.  We went one at a time as single riders so we jumped the queue! It was awesome but rough with a bit of a drop. We were in big four wheel drives that took the corners so hard it felt like we would roll but it was all OK. 

We also went to the Arabian Coast and we all went on Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage, a gentle boat trip through a puppet performed musical.  We then all went to the Magic Lamp Theatre for a combined live/3D animated musical featuring Genie from Aladdin. It was really great with the 3D glasses on. Eddie had a little go at 3D too.  Jim took Eddie on the Caravan Carousel and loved it!

Jim did the Tower of Terror on his own.  I don’t like being terrorised! It was a huge abandoned hotel with only one way down.  We all went on the Disney Sea Electric Railway and we all went aboard the SS Columbia (A tribute to the Titanic) to see the technology of speaking with sea creatures through a huge underwater window in the ship. Unfortunately I couldn’t understand the Japanese jokes so it was abit ho hum, but everyone was cracking up at what the Turtle was saying.

We watched the Big Band Beat, 1920s style American musical with Mickey and Minnie.  Charlie & I liked this a lot.  We also watched the Mystic Rhythms musical, similar to the Lion King, with ribbon acrobats and dancers and drummers.  I really enjoyed this.

We later went to Ariel’s Playground, in the Mermaid Lagoon. It was an amazing huge undercover play area for mostly babies. It was great to escape the rain on the 3^rd day, inside there as most pram pushers did.  In the evening we watched Fantasmic seated along the waterfront.  It was awesome with fireworks and lasers lights, giant creatures and a fire breathing dragon that Mickey defeats. 

I really enjoyed Tokyo Disneyland on the second day although we did have rain.  We were able to take Eddie & Charlie on the Pirates of the Caribbean boat ride in Adventure land.  Johnny Depp was there throughout the ride, and he looked so lifelike.  Later we all watched the Country Bear Theatre musical show. It was popular American music sung by bears, one dressed as Elvis in his older years.  It was wrong in so many ways which made it so funny.  Charlie sung along.  We then went to Critter Country and Jim could get no takers to join him on Splash Mountain, five storey drop into water so he went it alone. Jim also took Eddie on Peter Pan’s flight in Fantasyland and I joined Eddie on the Castle Carrousel.  I made everyone join me for a stroll through Cinderella’s castle and all four of us went on It’s a small world boat ride as well as Poohs Hunny Hunt, a great ride in honey pots that were able to spin and bounce along with the story book scene.  It may be one of the best rides in the world!

Jim & Eddie went on the Monsters Inc. Ride and Go Seek ride where they had torches to shine on the monsters for sounds effects, in Tomorrow land.  Jim also did Star tours, a flight simulator tribute to Star Wars.  I wanted to also do it but we ran out of time L  Eddie and Jim also drove the racing cars on the Grand Circuit Raceway. 

We were lucky to get Fast pass tickets to the popular rides we wanted to do so we didn’t have to queue.  They are dispensed from machines near the ride and they give you a one hour time slot to return and get straight on the ride.  We also used the single rider queue jumper system, but I felt really bad walking past hundreds of people queuing, but it was great!  The cast members also offered us to use the alternate ride system for parents with small children that can’t ride. We were allowed to go one at a time and switch at the exit and not queue.  It was really great for families with little kids. 

On the third night Jim & Eddie returned to Disney land to see the Electrical Parade Dream lights.  Charlie and I watched it from the balcony of our Sheraton hotelJ  Our hotel was great and we had a view of Cinderella’s castle from the balcony as well as the Disney resort line monorail.
